I represented the Welsh Labour Senedd Group on the UK National Policy Forum since 2022. I remain an active member of the Make Britain a Clean Energy Superpower workstream.

Since retiring from the Senedd in May, I would like to use my experience of the last 15 years to make sure Labour policies are relevant to the whole of the UK and standing up for Wales.

Our clean energy policies are key to resolving the Cost of Living crisis, securing Wales and Britain's industrial future and meeting our climate change obligations.

We must make sure all our policies pass the Makerfield test and the pledge to deliver a Just Green Transition.
